Maureen Caldwell I
have taught some facet of Aerobics for 18 years. I've been teaching Tai Chi for Health for two years, in the Sun, Yang
and Chen styles. Sun is what I prefer to start my students with and then we move onto the more challenging
styles (martial arts) with kicking, pivoting, jumping. The health benefits are endless.
Once a year I attend Dr. Lam's (creator of the Tai Chi for Health program for the Arthritis Foundation) weeklong workshops,
and I also study with Master Trainers and other instructors from all over the world. Currently, I am also studying to be a
Physical Therapist Asst., at Pueblo Community College, and I have seen the benefits of Tai Chi in the Physical Therapy world,
too.
